Around 944 distressed Kapampangan Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) received assistance from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Provincial Government of Pampanga this Wednesday, July 31.

OWWA Administrator Arnel Ignacio and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda visited and personally greeted the OFWs.
With the help of the “OWWA Membership and Reintegration Convergence Caravan,” the agency brought government programs closer to OFWs to give them adequate knowledge of the benefits they and their dependents can avail.

Aside from the raffle prizes, each Kabalen OFW also received P3,000 financial assistance and food packs.
