Two suspected drug personalities were arrested and over โฑ1.3 million worth of suspected shabu and a firearm were seized during separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Bulacan and Pampanga on May 22, as part of the governmentโs intensified campaign against illegal drugs under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
In Barangay Panginay, Guiguinto, Bulacan, operatives arrested a 44-year-old suspect known as alias โAnok,โ who is listed in the unified drug watchlist of PDEA. The operation, which took place at around 1:45 a.m., led to the confiscation of approximately 96.42 grams of suspected shabu worth โฑ655,600, a loaded .380 caliber pistol, and marked buy-bust money.




Later that day, around 10:00 p.m. in Barangay Bancal, Guagua, Pampanga, the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3), in coordination with the Guagua Municipal Police Station, apprehended alias โBert,โ a newly identified High-Value Individual (HVI), aged 40. Authorities recovered around 100 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of approximately โฑ680,000, five pieces of โฑ1,000 marked money, and a digital weighing scale.
Both suspects are currently under police custody pending formal complaints for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Alias โAnokโ will also face charges under RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and related provisions of the Omnibus Election Code.
PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3, emphasized the significance of continued police operations in supporting the administrationโs anti-drug drive.
