The Philippine Marine Corps launched its 75th anniversary celebration with a tree-planting activity at the site of its future headquarters in the Bataan Technology Park, Morong, Bataan.

Around 1,000 seedlings were planted across the 100-hectare property, symbolizing the Marines’ commitment to their future community.

PMC Commandant Maj. Gen. Vicente Blanco III said the initiative reflects the Corps’ dedication to safeguarding the land, protecting the environment, and building a thriving home for future generations of Marines.

BCDA officials, led by Chairperson Hilario B. Paredes, Director Anthony Marvin Ponce De Leon, and OIC-SVP for Conversion and Development Mark P. Torres, joined the activity.

The event was held 75 days before the Marines’ 75th founding anniversary on November 7, 2025, coinciding with National Heroes Day.
