Former Candaba Mayor and Farm Fresh Early Catch Inc. President Jerry Pelayo led the inauguration of the country’s largest crawfish nursery in Candaba, Pampanga on Tuesday.

Pelayo said the groundbreaking facility positions the Philippines at the forefront of a high-value aquaculture industry that is sustainable, profitable, and inclusive. He noted that Farm Fresh Early Catch Inc. aims to deliver premium Redclaw harvests to both local and international markets while supporting the nation’s food security agenda and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities.
