As part of its efforts to ensure clean and orderly polls in 2025, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) has launched a Media Action Center to support a peaceful, honest, and transparent election process in Central Luzon.
PRO 3 Regional Director Brigadier General Jean Fajardo led the activation of the center, which aligns with the Commission on Elections’ campaign to safeguard democratic integrity and maintain regional peace and order.
“The opening of the PRO 3 Media Action Center is a clear testament to our unwavering commitment to transparency and peace, especially during the election season,” said Fajardo.
The Media Action Center will function as an information hub for both media and the public, offering access to official updates, a venue for inquiries, and a channel to report election-related incidents. It aims to ensure the timely and accurate flow of information between the police and the community.
All provincial and city police offices under PRO 3 have also set up their own Media Action Centers. These centers will be operational 24/7, staffed by designated personnel ready to receive reports, answer questions, and address concerns.
Police Major Aileen Rose Stanger, Chief of the Regional Public Information Office, reminded voters to be cooperative and responsible on election day. She emphasized the importance of lining up properly at polling precincts and avoiding the possession of firearms or deadly weapons.
“We urge everyone to remain vigilant. If you notice anything unusual, immediately report it to our public assistance desks located at polling areas,” Stanger added.
The public is encouraged to report any form of intimidation, vote-buying, vote-selling, or other election-related violations through PRO 3’s hotlines at 0917-556-2597 and 0917-623-5700, or via the official PRO 3 Facebook page.
