Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has dealt a significant blow to illegal drug activities, successfully arresting multiple High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and confiscating over PHP 8 million worth of illegal substances in a series of high-impact operations over the weekend.
On March 23, 2025, at approximately 4:45 PM, a joint anti-illegal drug operation led by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Police Stations 4 and 6, the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU), and the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) resulted in the arrest of two HVIs: alias “Usup,” 36, from Barangay Lourdes Northwest, and alias “Tobats,” 31, from Barangay Lourdes Sur.
Authorities seized 1,043.01 grams of suspected shabu, valued at PHP 7,092,468.00, along with a caliber .45 Norinco pistol, a suppressor/silencer, live ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and a Toyota Wigo used in their illegal operations. Additionally, marked bills and boodle money from the buy-bust operation were confiscated.















This successful operation stemmed from intelligence gathered by the CIU, ACPO, linking Jonah Francia to drug distribution activities and robbery-holdup incidents targeting Korean nationals in the Barangays of Anunas, Balibago, and Pampang.
The previous day, on March 22, 2025, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) launched a series of anti-drug operations, leading to the arrest of five HVIs and the seizure of 120 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP 816,000.00.
At 12:40 AM, officers from the Meycauayan City Police Station’s CDEU arrested alias “Pao,” 41, a call center agent, and alias “Jokjok,” 42, a mechanic, in Barangay Lawa, Meycauayan City. The two were caught with 54 grams of shabu, valued at PHP 367,200.00.
Around 1:30 AM, operatives from the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station (SJDM CPS) apprehended alias “Jules,” 39, and alias “Rey,” 40, in Barangay Bagong Buhay 1. Authorities seized 51 grams of shabu worth PHP 346,800.00 from the suspects.
Later that evening, at 8:00 PM, a joint buy-bust operation led by CDEU-SJDM CPS and PIU-Bulacan PPO in Barangay Graceville, SJDM, resulted in the arrest of alias “Dondon,” 41, a known member of the “Mangoda Group,” involved in gun-for-hire and drug operations. Recovered from him were 15 grams of shabu valued at PHP 102,000.00 and a caliber .45 pistol.
PRO3 Director PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo praised the tireless efforts of the operatives involved in these successful operations, stressing that their commitment to fighting drug syndicates extends far beyond regular working hours.
“These operations demonstrate that our fight against illegal drugs never takes a break. Whether it’s a weekday or the weekend, our personnel remain determined and committed to keeping Central Luzon safe and drug-free,” PBGEN Fajardo said.
She reaffirmed PRO3’s unwavering commitment to eradicating illegal drugs and criminality in the region, assuring the public that the campaign will continue with full force and without compromise.
