Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) intensified its manhunt operations against sexual offenders, resulting in the arrest of several Most Wanted Persons in Bataan and Olongapo City. The operations form part of the 7 Focus Agenda of Acting Chief PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio I. Nartatez Jr., and PRO3โ€™s strategic direction to protect communities and pursue criminals without fear or favor.

On September 15, joint operatives of CIU-OCPO, Police Station 1 (OCPO), and Bagac MPS-Bataan PPO arrested โ€œFerdinand,โ€ 68, ranked No. 2 Most Wanted (Municipal Level, Bagac MPS), in Barangay West Bajac-Bajac, Olongapo City. He faces six counts of Lascivious Conduct and nine counts of Sexual Assault under R.A. 7610, with bail running into millions of pesos.

Later that day, Dinalupihan police and supporting units nabbed โ€œRonie,โ€ 48, Top 6 Most Wanted (Municipal Level, Dinalupihan), for Sexual Assault under the RPC in relation to R.A. 7610. His arrest was by virtue of a warrant issued by RTC Branch 5, Dinalupihan, with bail set at โ‚ฑ200,000.

On September 19, operatives of OCPO Police Station 1, Pasig CPS, and Olongapo City Mobile Force Company tracked down and arrested โ€œJr.,โ€ 27, wanted for multiple counts of Rape under the RPC. Several of his charges are non-bailable.

In a separate case, โ€œTatay Temioโ€ was arrested after a 12-year-old victim accused him of repeated statutory rape. He now faces five counts under R.A. 11648.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peรฑones Jr. commended the operating teams, stressing:

โ€œThese successive arrests send a strong messageโ€”there is no refuge for those who prey on the innocent. We remain steadfast in upholding the rule of law and safeguarding our communities.โ€

All arrested suspects are now under police custody and will face trial before the appropriate courts.
