Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) formally launched its Digitalized Squad Weekly Interaction Meeting (SWIM) on Wednesday at the PRO3 Patrol Hall, Camp Olivas, as part of efforts to modernize internal operations and promote unity and spiritual resilience among police personnel.
PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peรฑones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, led the activity in support of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) internal transformation programโparticularly the second pillar focused on โUnity and Morale within the Ranks.โ

The event gathered squad leaders from provincial, city, and municipal police stations, including mobile force battalions, alongside members of My Brotherโs Keeper (MBK) Philippines, headed by MGEN (Ret.) Manuel O. Aplasca. MBK Core Advocates, National Coordinators, and Advisers were also present.
A highlight of the launch was a simulation of a digitalized MBK Squad Meeting, where squad leaders conducted the interaction using their mobile devices. The hands-on session demonstrated how technology can enhance efficiency, engagement, and real-time communication in weekly squad meetings.
PBGEN Peรฑones Jr. underscored the importance of embracing digital transformation to strengthen internal camaraderie and purpose.
โBy embracing digital tools, we make our systems more accessible and relevantโfurther strengthening our commitment to unity, morale, and spiritual growth within our ranks,โ he said.
The digitalization of SWIM forms part of the PNPโs broader modernization thrust, aiming to keep personnel connected, motivated, and aligned with the organization’s core values and mission.
