The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has expressed deep sorrow over the recent school shooting incident involving students, extending prayers to the victim, their family, classmates, and all those affected.

PRO3 officials said the tragedy underscores the urgent need to safeguard the youth and maintain secure, nurturing learning environments. In response, the police vowed to reinforce the active role of school administrators, emphasize the crucial responsibility of parents in guiding their children, and step up security measures through closer coordination with schools.

Authorities urged the public to remain vigilant by reporting any suspicious behavior, threats, or bullying; to avoid spreading unverified information; and to support the mental well-being of students.

“School safety is a shared responsibility,” the statement read, stressing the importance of teachers, parents, and law enforcement working hand in hand to ensure that campuses remain safe havens for learning.
