The energy was electric as the 1st Delta Cup Inter-Town Menโ€™s and Womenโ€™s Volleyball Competition officially opened on Saturday, July 12 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, bringing together athletes from 19 municipalities and 3 cities across Pampanga.

Led by the Provincial Government of Pampanga under Governor Lilia โ€œNanayโ€ Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis โ€œDeltaโ€ Pineda, the tournament is a collaboration with the Provincial Youth Local Development Office and the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, headed by Board Member JC Cruz.

The opening kicked off with a Parade of Colors, with participating teams proudly carrying banners and wearing their hometown colors. The Delta Cup not only champions athletic excellence but also fosters unity, discipline, and youth engagement through sports.

In full support at the event were Acting Vice Governor Fritzie David-Dizon, Board Members Lucky Labung, Mymy Gonzales, Shiwen Lim, Atty. Claire David Lim, Dra. Kaye Naguit, and Cherry Manalo. Local leaders including Bacolor Vice Mayor Ron Dungca, Sta. Rita Mayor Reynan Calo, and Apalit Vice Mayor Peter Nucom also expressed their enthusiasm for the provinceโ€™s rising volleyball stars.
