In a heartfelt response to rising fuel costs, actor Donny Pangilinan and his father, Anthony Pangilinan, have reduced diesel prices at their family-owned fuel station to help ease the burden on their community.

The initiative was shared by Anthony through an Instagram post on March 16, where he revealed that the idea came from his son after they assessed the impact of increasing fuel prices on both their business and the people they serve. ([Instagram][1])

“Our partner (yes, my son!) suggested a move that didn’t make sense ‘numbers wise’ but was 100% in sync with our mission: support those who need it most in the community,” Anthony wrote in his post. ([ABS-CBN][2])

Beginning March 17, the Pangilinan family implemented a ₱3 per liter reduction on diesel at their station in South Forbes, with the business absorbing part of the rising costs. ([Philstar.com][3])

Anthony also emphasized in a separate Instagram update that the price cut reflects their desire to extend help for as long as they are able, encouraging others to do the same in their own capacity. ([Instagram][4])

The gesture drew praise online, including support from Donny himself, who reacted to the post with heart emojis—underscoring the family’s shared commitment to putting people first during a challenging time.
