The Philippines scored a commanding 126–39 victory over Brunei in their Group A matchup at the 14th ASEAN Schools Games (ASG) held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
Matt Jerrick Cayetano of Ateneo de Davao led the charge with 34 points, while the DELTA Boys delivered a combined 56 points. The win strengthens the Philippines’ bid for a semifinal spot in the tournament.
Officials urged supporters to continue praying for the success of the Philippine team.
