Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to expand its domestic network from Clark International Airport (CRK) by doubling flight frequencies to Basco and Busuanga (Coron) starting October 26, 2025.

Flights to both destinations will increase from daily service to twice daily, or 14 flights weekly. The move aims to give Central and Northern Luzon travelers more convenient options while strengthening local tourism and easing congestion at Manila’s main airport.

“Boosting our Clark operations not only gives passengers more flight choices, but also improves connectivity, drives tourism and economic activity, and enhances the accessibility of Central Luzon’s gateway,” said Rabbi Vincent Ang, PAL Express President.

PAL continues to operate its daily Clark–Siargao flights, offering residents in the region direct access to the country’s surfing capital without having to travel to Manila.

The flag carrier uses its 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft for Clark-based flights.

PAL has earned recognition as one of the Best Travel Brands, ranking second in Southeast Asia in Campaign Asia Pacific’s Top 50 list. It was also ranked among the Top 10 Best Asia Pacific Airlines and named the most punctual in the region last April 2025, with an on-time performance of 86.07% according to Cirium.
