Philippine Airlines (PAL), the countryโ€™s flag carrier, has been honored as a 2026 Four Star Major Airline by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) during the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony held in September 2025 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

The APEX Awards, considered among the most respected in global aviation, are based on verified passenger feedback through TripItยฎ from Concur, covering more than one million flights annually across 600 airlines worldwide.

The Four Star Major Airline rating places PAL among the worldโ€™s top carriers recognized for excellence in cabin comfort, cleanliness, food and beverage, inflight entertainment, connectivity, and customer service.

โ€œBeing recognized by APEX, the worldโ€™s leading airline industry association, is a significant milestone for Philippine Airlines,โ€ said PAL Executive Vice President and COO Atty. This recognition adds to PALโ€™s growing list of international accolades, including the 2025 Flyers’ Choice Award as Southeast Asiaโ€™s second most preferred airline, the 2024 LinkedIn Talent Award for Best Employer Brand, and Ciriumโ€™s 2025 ranking as the Asia Pacific regionโ€™s number one on-time airline.
