Philippine Airlines (PAL) is ramping up its international network this December to meet the surge in travel demand during the peak holiday season, adding more flights and upgrading aircraft on several routes.

Between mid-December 2025 and mid-January 2026, PAL will double its Manilaโ€“Perth flights from three to six weekly services and increase Manilaโ€“Melbourne from five times weekly to daily. Select Manilaโ€“Brisbane flights will also be upgraded to the larger Airbus A330 aircraft, while Perth continues to be served by the Airbus A321neo.

โ€œAs the countryโ€™s flag carrier, we are committed to meeting strong travel demand while delivering world-class excellence and the warmth of Filipino hospitality in every journey,โ€ said PAL President Richard Nuttall.

Beyond Australia, PAL is enhancing connectivity across Asia. Starting October 26, the Manilaโ€“Da Nang route will operate daily until March 28, 2026, while Manilaโ€“Busan will increase to eleven flights per week.

The airline is also boosting flights to Japan for the holidays, reviving its Manilaโ€“Sapporo service with thrice-weekly flights from November 24 to March 27. Additional roundtrips will be mounted between Manila and Narita, Osaka, and Nagoya, while extra flights from Cebu to Osaka and Narita will also be added. PAL will further launch thrice-weekly nonstop Cebuโ€“Guam flights starting December 16.

In the United States, Manilaโ€“Seattle flights will rise from three to five weekly beginning November 25, complementing PALโ€™s extensive North American network that includes Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Honolulu, and Guam.

These expanded services reflect PALโ€™s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global footprint, support tourism, and provide passengers with more convenient travel options this festive season.
