Philippine Airlines relaunches PAL Aviation School

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to relaunch its PAL Aviation School as a premier pilot training hub, in partnership with globally respected flight training provider Airways Aviation Group. This move strengthens PAL’s long-term commitment to operational excellence, aviation safety, and workforce development.

After a rigorous selection process, PAL chose Airways Aviation’s Australia-based training academy for its proven expertise and adherence to internationally recognized aviation standards. The collaboration ensures PAL cadets will receive world-class training aligned with the highest global benchmarks.

β€œAirways Aviation met our stringent requirements with its strong safety culture and competency-based training,” said Capt. Stanley K. Ng, PAL President and Chief Operating Officer. β€œIn-house training remains vital in shaping pilots who are globally competitive and innovation-ready.”

Strengthening Philippine-Australia Aviation Ties
The partnership marks a new milestone in strengthening aviation education links between the Philippines and Australia, contributing to the development of a resilient and highly skilled global aviation workforce.

Cadet Training Journey
The first batch of PAL cadets will begin their Foundation training and selection process in the Philippines, followed by advanced theoretical and hands-on flight training at Airways Aviation campuses in Australia. There, they’ll be trained by industry experts using state-of-the-art technology and practical flight experience.

With this relaunch, Philippine Airlines is reaffirming its commitment to investing in Filipino talent and providing its future pilots with tools to succeed in a globally connected, innovation-driven aviation industry.
