Dr. Avenilo Aventura Jr. assumes post as the new executive director of the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) along East Avenue, Quezon City in a turnover ceremony on Monday (June 24, 2024).
Aventura replaced outgoing chief Dr. Joel Abanilla. Meanwhile, his father, Dr. Avenilo Aventura Sr. served as the PHC’s first executive director from 1975 to 1986.
