𝐹𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝐿𝐺𝑈 𝑖𝑛 𝐵𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚

The Municipality of Pulilan has launched on June 24 Paleng-QR PH Plus Program, a digitalized system where a more efficient and inclusive financial system and services may be accessible to the public.

Pulilan is the first Bulacan LGU to launch the digital purchase system, which is a collaboration between the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) via Joint Memorandum Circular 2022-01.

Present at the launch held at Pulilan Public Market were Pulilan Mayor Maria Rosario Ochoa-Montejo, Regional Director of DILG Region III, Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda and, Regional Director of BSP North Luzon, Atty. Noel Neil O. Malimban.

The launching was made possible with the support of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Information and Technology (DICT) as well as the Market Vendors Association of Pulilan and the partner Financial Service Providers (FSPs) including Landbank of the Philippines, Gcash, Maya, and others.
