The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has announced that the latest shellfish samples collected from the coastal waters of Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Zambales tested 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐬.
According to Shellfish Bulletin No. 18, Series of 2025, dated August 29, all types of shellfish harvested from these areas are 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
BFAR advised the public that fishing and shellfish gathering in these provinces may continue without risk.
