Police operatives from Angeles City, Quezon City, and Manila successfully arrested a suspect in the killing of a Korean national during a joint law enforcement operation early morning of September 27.
At around 3:00 a.m., combined personnel from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District (CIDU-QCPD), Manila Police District (MPD) Station 3, Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) Criminal Investigation Unit, and Angeles City Police Station 4 served a warrant of arrest against the accused, known by the alias “Bote.” The warrant, issued by Judge Ramon Corazon Pati Blanco of Angeles City RTC Branch 115, carried a no-bail recommendation under Criminal Case No. R-ANG-25-02552-CR for Robbery with Homicide.
ACPO City Director PCOL Joselito E. Villarosa Jr. credited the arrest to strong inter-agency coordination and support from Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, whose commitment to public safety ensured swift action. The Korean Embassy and Central Luzon’s Korean community expressed their gratitude to local authorities for their efforts in securing justice and ensuring community safety.
