SBMA town hall meeting on Mpox

The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) led on September 24y a town hall meeting on Monkeypox or mpox.

Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine (IDTM) expert Dr. Erlinda V. Lim-Alconga explains in detail the emerging threat caused by the disease or Mpox during a town hall meeting initiated by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority–Public Health and Safety Department at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC). Rural Health physicians Dr. Windell Tan and Dr. Krisel Garcia from the Olongapo City Health Office were also in the panel.

In attendance were around 350 participants, including SBMA employees, residents and Freeport locator representatives

The town hall meeting was supported in part by the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, Inc, the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine and the Olongapo City Medical Society.
