The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has honored four Technology Institutions (TTIs) in Central Luzon for their contributions to technical-vocational education and training (TVET).
Recognized institutions include the Regional Training Center in Guiguinto, Bulacan; Provincial Training Centers in Iba, Zambales, and Guagua, Pampanga; and Concepcion Vocational School in Tarlac.

Regional Director Jose Baron Lagran highlighted the role of micro-credentialing, a flexible and modular training approach under TESDA Circular No. 077-2024, in making skills development more accessible for workers needing to upskill or reskill.
The recognized TTIs specialize in various fields, including KNX certified devices installation, machining operations, motor control system maintenance, and photovoltaic system installation.
Lagran emphasized that this initiative not only empowers workers but also strengthens industries by providing a highly skilled and adaptable workforce. TESDA Central Luzon is among the six regions pioneering the implementation of micro-credentialing.
