A very good friend asked that I gather friends and have an โadvanced screeningโ of what would be in offer at Greenhouse Cafรฉ, a cozy, snazzy, hidden gem which, as the night progressed, unveiled a pleasant surprise at every turn.
Greenhouse Cafรฉ, which is seated in a more relaxed location in bustling Clark Freeport, is a definite breath of fresh air. Living up to its name, the cafรฉ is surrounded by lush greenery and enveloped by a serene ambiance that emits feelings of an ethereal getaway.
The interiors are a perfect blend of modern and rustic, with elegant furniture and glass walls and windows that offer a beautiful view of nature.
Our Greenhouse Cafรฉ dining experience opened with a choice of Greek Salad or Caesar Salad, followed by French Onion Soup that was so delicious that a friend who despises onions, or even the mere thought of, finished the soup way ahead of everyone.
The mains were Grilled Salmon with Risotto Cake, Slow cooked Beef Cheeks with Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Sliced Duck Breast with Spanish Quinoa, Mild Spicy Beef Salpicao and Singaporeโstyle Chicken Curry.
All these were enjoyed with 2022 Chateau Moulin de Faye and 2022 Chardonnay De Bortoli Willowglen, Australia.
A fitting finish to the meal is the refreshing Mango Parfait.
Overall, our Greenhouse Cafรฉ experience was delightful, with the right dash of relaxation and a whole lot of catching up. Between bites of the delectable treats and sips of the velvety wine, the Greenhouse Cafรฉ dinner paved the way for a renewed appreciation of friendships and family ties, successfully brought together by great food, a uniquely amazing place and a totally beautiful dining experience.
