Some 360 barangay officials from the 33 barangays of Angeles City attended a training and seminar session named “Barangay Newly Elected Officials towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent Barangays” today at Royce Hotel and Casino.

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. initiated the training which aims to make the elected officials knowledgeable with the basics of RA 7160, barangay development plan, CapDev agenda, barangay budget, and administrative announcements.

Acting City Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting represented Mayor Lazatin during the said training.

Also present during the training are DILG Angeles City Director Yvette Cosio, and ABC President Danilo Nacu.
