UnionBank of the Philippines has officially opened a new branch at the Aboitiz Corporate Center in Cebu City, further deepening its commitment to the region’s dynamic business and cultural landscape.
Located in one of Cebu’s key business hubs, the branch reflects UnionBank’s signature customer-first approach with modern features like paperless banking, self-service tablets, and round-the-clock ATMs—designed to deliver a seamless and efficient banking experience.
“This new branch is more than just a building—it’s a symbol of our belief in Cebu’s continued growth and our dedication to serving its people,” said UnionBank President and CEO Ana Aboitiz Delgado during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “Whether you’re a loyal client or just starting your journey with us, we are here with excellence, innovation, and care.”

Delgado reflected on her family’s deep roots in Cebu, likening UnionBank’s presence to a strong acacia tree—firm, resilient, and always growing. “As we expand here, we’re not only opening a branch—we’re reaffirming our bond with Cebu’s people and businesses.”
Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival graced the event and commended UnionBank’s innovation and professionalism. “This branch exemplifies the kind of service that builds trust and drives growth in our communities,” he said.
Other key leaders present included Cebu City Second District Representative Eduardo “Edu” Rama Jr.; UnionBank Relationship Banking Head Conception Pearlie Lontoc; Chief Cross-Sell and External Relations Officer Anton Corro; Chief Marketing and Experience Officer Albert Cuadrante; and Cebu Sales Director Pico Sarmiento, who emphasized the bank’s confidence in Cebu’s rapid economic rise.
“This is our 20th branch in the region—a clear sign of our long-term commitment to support Cebu’s exponential growth,” said Sarmiento.
UnionBank’s continued expansion highlights its mission to empower Filipinos through smart, accessible, and community-driven banking—bridging tradition with innovation in every space it opens.
