๐๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐, the travelling art exhibit commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the start of the Philippine-American War, opened today, 29 February, at the Museum of Philippine Social History (Pamintuan House) in Angeles City.
The exhibit, which was formally opened by Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting and National Historical Commission of the Philippines Commissioner Lino Dizon, highlights the role of geography in helping shape Philippine history, especially during the tumultuous period from 1896 to 1902.
Museo ni Mariano Ponce Shrine Curator II Ericson Jose Dublas provided the brief before the exhibit, set in an especially designed โturning tableโ was revealed.
An initiative of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), ๐๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ is a collaborative project of the NHCP-Local Historical Committees Network, NHCP Museo ni Emilio Aguinaldo, NHCP Museo nina Marcela Mariรฑo at Felipe Agoncillo, NHCP Museo ng Libingan sa Ilalim ng Lupa ng Nagcarlan, NHCP Museo ni Mariano Ponce, NHCP Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar, and the NHCP Museo at Aklatan ni Diosdado Macapagal in solidarity with the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood.
