𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩

Around 200 volunteers from various sectors are set to take part in 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐚 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐠, a large-scale clean-up drive along the Abacan River on February 21 at 6:00 a.m., led by Balibago Waterworks.

Participants include representatives from Nagkakaisang Guardians, Soliman EC, Philippine College of Criminology, Mekeni Food Corp., ARAW-ACI, the Barangay Balibago Local Government Unit, and the Angeles City Council headed by Vice Mayor Amos Rivera, together with city councilors and their staff.

The activity will begin with a short program at the Balibago Waterworks building in Pulung Maragul, Angeles City. This will be followed by the clean-up operation along the Abacan River, particularly in front of Systems Plus at Abacan Loop in the Balibago area.

Organizers said the initiative aims to strengthen community unity and promote environmental responsibility, especially in support of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate and maintain the cleanliness of the Abacan River.

They also encouraged the public to take part in similar activities that contribute to a cleaner and safer environment for everyone.
