Governor Lilia βNanayβ Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis βDeltaβ Pineda joined around 3,200 devotees at the Holy Mass marking the 70th Canonical Coronation Anniversary of the Virgen de los Remedios and Santo Cristo del PerdΓ³n on September 8 at the Arzobispado de Pampanga.
As part of the solemn celebration, Pineda personally placed the crown on the image of the Virgen de los Remedios, Patroness of Pampanga, symbolizing the enduring faith and devotion of Kapampangans.
The anniversary observance was held at the Repository Chapel of the Virgen de los Remedios despite the continuing rains.
