A total of 17,074 Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Family Food Packs were delivered to Masantol for distribution to families affected by recent flooding and heavy rains.
Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda personally turned over on Sunday the relief packs, which were received by Mayor Danilo Guintu, Vice Mayor Liezle Guintu, members of the Sangguniang Bayan and Association of Barangay Councils (ABC).
The food packs were immediately picked up by the barangays for distribution to residents, with local officials urged to ensure that all families, particularly those most in need, receive assistance.
The relief effort reflects the continuing coordination between the municipal government and the Pampanga provincial government in providing support to Masantol residents affected by the recent weather disturbances.
