An estimated 1,762 Aeta residents in Mabalacat City received rice assistance under the Rice Program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. during a distribution held Wednesday, September 16, at Gate 14.

Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda personally visited the distribution site, accompanied by Clark Development Corporation President Agnes Devanadera and 1st District Board Member Christian Halili, to check on members of the Aeta community.

Each beneficiary received half a sack of rice under the national Rice Program. The Provincial Government of Pampanga also provided food packs and transportation assistance to augment the beneficiaries’ immediate needs.

The initiative aims to help ease the daily food and other basic expenses of Aeta families in the city.

Also supporting the distribution were Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) Head Fe Manarang and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Head Janica Yambao, along with personnel from the PSWDO, PDRRMO, General Services Office (GSO), and Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO).
