A total of 1,803 bedridden patients received financial assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development in partnership with the Pampanga Provincial Government on April 24.

The beneficiaries, identified through Nanay Community Workers, each received, through their representatives, ₱5,000 in cash assistance from DSWD, along with Ensure milk provided by the provincial government.

Among the recipients was Loreta Agapito, who sought assistance for her 94-year-old mother, saying the aid provided much-needed relief for their family, which relies on support from relatives.

Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda also reminded families to continue caring for and supporting their loved ones, emphasizing the importance of attention and compassion in maintaining the health and well-being of elderly patients.
