A total of 2,843 student-scholars from 11 barangays in Bacolor received educational assistance from the municipal government on Tuesday, September 15, at the Bacolor Mini Convention Center.

The beneficiaries came from Barangays Cabetican, Calibutbut, Concepcion, Dolores, Magliman, Mesalipit, Parulog, San Vicente, Sta. Barbara, Sta. Ines, and Talba.

Mayor Eduardo “Diman” Datu led the distribution, joined by Vice Mayor Ron Dungca, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Municipal Treasurer Bong Yumang, and Community Affairs Office Head Jastine Edward Datu.

Datu encouraged the student beneficiaries to remain committed to their studies, emphasizing that every effort they make brings them closer to achieving their dreams.

“Magsikap, magpursigi at huwag sumuko,” Datu said, urging the students to persevere despite challenges.
