33 Candaba barangays receive patrol tricycles from Pampanga Capitol

The Pampanga Provincial Government has strengthened barangay security in Candaba with the distribution of 33 patrol tricycle units to help improve peace and order in local communities.

Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the turnover of the patrol units, emphasizing the provincial government’s commitment to protecting Kapampangans and supporting barangays as frontliners in maintaining public safety.

She urged barangay officials to take good care of the patrol units, noting that they would play a vital role in sustaining peace and ensuring faster response to community concerns.

Barangay Captain Noel Crisostomo of Pulong Palazan expressed gratitude for the assistance, saying the new patrol tricycle would enable officials to better monitor the village’s seven sitios.

With the latest distribution, 392 of Pampanga’s 505 barangays now have patrol tricycle units provided by the provincial government. The remaining barangays in the City of San Fernando and Mabalacat City are next in line to complete the provincewide rollout.

Also present during the turnover were officials from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Pampanga Police Provincial Office, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Candaba local government, Provincial Board members, and other provincial officials.
