A total of 7,373 Fernandino affected by the successive rains received assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Pampanga Provincial Government, led by Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, on Wednesday, September 30.

Residents from Barangays Malino, Malpitic, Maimpis, San Isidro, and San Agustin received food packs containing rice, canned goods, and other basic food necessities.

During the distribution, Gov. Pineda urged Kapampangans to remain vigilant and prepared amid changing weather conditions, while assuring residents that the provincial government remains on standby to respond to their needs.

“May nanay po kayo sa Kapitolyo. Pumunta lang po kayo kapag kayo ay may sakit o may kailangan. Tutulungan ko po kayo,” Pineda said.

Also present were 3rd District Board Member Lucky Labung, PSWDO Head Fe Manarang, PEO Head Noli Pangan, and PG-ENRO Head Art Punsalan.
