Kapampangan Chef Howard Dizon now has his own restaurant named Diosdado which means ‘God-given’.

His long-time dream to share his gastronomic artistry in the province of Pampanga is already in place and open to serve Sunday brunch buffets and reservations for events.
“22 years ago, I braved the international culinary scene and gained valuable experiences. As I go back to my home province, I finally got to nourish and share my ‘God-given’ cooking skills with a physical facility that serves my specialties,” said Dizon.

The chef featured iconic dishes from his childhood archives especially his mother’s notable dishes such as arobung baka, minatamis na saging, mouthwatering and tender asadong baka, and mango with tomato side dishes.
Also, Dizon made sure that the food first on his list for cutomers to try is his signature asadong dila ng baka with castañas.
For the new generation to enjoy Dizon’s heirloom servings, he personally chose a homey atmosphere in Diosdado’s interiors.
As he was building his dream restaurant, one of the inspirations he cherished was his participation in Lugud Balen where he fed frontliners and put up family meals during the pandemic to ease their work time on food preparation at home.
Dizon, who is now a resto owner vowed to continue cooking and advocating local cuisine to keep the Kapampangans’ culinary prowess alive.
“What we are serving will surely satisfy the cravings of Kapampangans and tourists alike,” Dizon added.
Diosdado is located in Dona Lucing Avenue, Calibutbut,Bacolor. For reservations and inquiries, contact 09176409017. (Gerald Gloton)
