Some 15 Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program entrepreneurs (CARPreneurs) and members of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) in Bataan attended the Google Business Profile and Geotagging training of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). This is part of a series of training sessions under the agency’s CARP.
DTI Bataan Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist Jeypy Ocampo said it aims to assist CARPpreneurs and ARBOs in expanding their market through the implementation of new technologies and techniques.
“This seminar will benefit our beneficiaries by enabling them to improve their social media visibility and expand their reach in the online market,” he said.
Ocampo emphasized the need to provide support to scale up the capacities of CARPreneurs and ARBOs in ways tailored to their needs and relevant to current and emerging trends.
Topics tackled include steps to create a Google Business Profile, effective use of Google My Business for online presence management, and the advantages of using geotagging for social media marketing. (PIA 3)
