Angeles City gets new vacuum sewer truck, tow truck

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on September 5, 2023 inspects the newly-purchased vacuum sewer truck and tow truck, which will be used by the Environmental Management System and the Angeles City Traffic Development Office for declogging of drainages and clearing operations, respectively.

Mayor Lazatin said this is to further maintain the cleanliness and orderliness throughout the city, one of the cornerstone programs of his administration. 

Joining Mayor Lazatin during the inspection are Department of the Interior and Local Government—Angeles City Director Yvette Cosio, Secretary to the Mayor Rafael Lazatin Angeles, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo, City Engineer Donato Dizon, and personnel of the ACTDO.

Engr. Dizon will supervise the operation of the vacuum sewer truck assigned to the EMS whule ACTDO Head Francis Pangilinan will handle the clearing operations of the tow truck.

Engr. Dizon also said that the City Engineer’s Office and the EMS are always on the lookout for further improvements for the city’s betterment. 

“Continuous pa rin mga proyekto natin, kahit na maliliit na projects, mayroon pa ring ongoing kagaya ng drainage, lalo na tag-ulan, at mga road improvements. Tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pagpapagawa ng mga kalsada,” Engr. Dizon added.

Meanwhile, Pangilinan also said that the ACTDO personnel are in constant operations to clear the roads for motorists and pedestrians.
