GSIS facilitates stakeholders’ dialogue in Nueva Ecija

Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) conducted a Stakeholders’ Dialogue in Cabanatuan City.

This serves as a platform for GSIS to engage with its members and gather feedback on their products and services, aiming to tailor its offerings to better meet their needs.

GSIS President and General Manager Jose Arnulfo Veloso discussed their various initiatives to provide government employees with better financial opportunities and services.

Among the initiatives is the Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) Flex, a new loan program designed to provide financial assistance to members for investment in income-generating activities to support their families.

The MPL Flex loan offers a six percent interest rate and can be paid for up to 15 years. This program is accessible to members with at least one-month premium or contribution.

In a bid to address the healthcare needs of government employees, Veloso announced plans to provide complimentary medical assistance.

This measure recognizes that the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation coverage may not always suffice for employees facing unexpected medical expenses.

Moreover, Veloso unveiled intentions and plans to develop affordable housing options characterized by lower amortization rates, demonstrating a commitment to dignifying public service through homeownership.

Veloso also shared the goal of GSIS to support members in venturing into their businesses by providing crucial resources and connections.

Collaboration with institutions such as the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas were discussed, underscoring the dedication of GSIS to fostering the financial stability of its members.

In addition to these initiatives, GSIS members were encouraged to streamline their transactions by downloading the GSIS Touch Mobile Application, which provides easy access to various services without the need for physical visits to GSIS offices.

Veloso underscored that the institution’s mission goes beyond offering low-interest loans; it is equally focused on providing the right services and upholding the dignity of its members.

He reiterated their willingness to receive feedback and improve services to ensure government employees receive the necessary support and resources for a better quality of life.

The event also featured the awarding of the Transfer Certificate of Title to five new homeowners in Nueva Ecija under the GSIS Pabahay sa Bagong Bayaning Manggagawa ng Pilipinas program, as well as recognition for top-performing agencies. (PIA 3)
