It featured lectures on maternal and child health care, which covered topics such as regular check-ups, vaccinations, and proper nutrition before, during, and after pregnancy. The importance of breastfeeding was also highlighted, emphasizing its vital role in a child’s health and development.

In addition to the cash and food assistance, the provincial government, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), distributed goods, hygiene kits, and vitamins to the beneficiaries.

The First 1,000 Days Program aims to address the health and nutrition needs of mothers and children during the critical first 1,000 days of life, from zero to two years old.
