President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will proudly receive Carlos Yulo, the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medalist, alongside other outstanding Filipino Olympians at Malacaรฑan Palace on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Yulo and the other Olympians will arrive on Tuesday afternoon and will be met by their families at the Villamor Airbase.
The 2024 Paris Olympic athletes will then proceed to the PICC, where they will be welcomed by government officials before embarking on a heroesโ parade traversing key areas in Manila. The parade will culminate at Malacaรฑan Palace.
Upon their arrival at the Palace, the Olympians will be welcomed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos and the First Family. A special program will follow, where the President will personally honor the athletes and present them with well-deserved incentives, recognizing their extraordinary contributions to Philippine sports and their stellar performance during the 2024 Paris Olympics
