Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ largest airline, is strengthening its Iloilo hub by launching three new domestic routes, underscoring its commitment to improving inter-island connectivity and making air travel more accessible for Filipinos.
Starting December 1, CEB will offer daily flights between Iloilo and Tagbilaran, followed by the Iloilo-Daraga (Legazpi) route on December 2, with flights operating three times a week. Additionally, thrice-weekly flights between Iloilo and Dumaguete will commence on December 3.
“We’re thrilled to introduce these new domestic routes from Iloilo, especially as the holiday season approaches. This is the time when many Filipinos travel to visit loved ones, and at Cebu Pacific, we’re committed to making air travel more convenient and affordable for everyone,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific’s President and Chief Commercial Officer.
With these new routes, Cebu Pacific will serve a total of 14 destinations from its Iloilo hub, including two international routes to Hong Kong and Singapore.
The addition of Tagbilaran, Daraga, and Dumaguete will allow Iloilo-based travelers to explore iconic destinations like the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, the historic Cagsawa Ruins with a view of Mayon Volcano in Legazpi, and the rich marine life of Apo Island near Dumaguete.
Passengers can book flights using their existing Travel Funds or other payment options such as credit cards, debit cards, and e-wallets.
Cebu Pacific currently operates in 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Flights can be booked through the airline’s website at www.cebupacificair.com.
