The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has announced that the latest shellfish samples collected from the coastal waters of Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Zambales tested negative for red tide toxins.
According to Shellfish Bulletin No. 18, Series of 2025, dated August 29, all types of shellfish harvested from these areas are safe for human consumption.
BFAR advised the public that fishing and shellfish gathering in these provinces may continue without risk.
