Joint PNP-DEG, PRO3 operation seizes ₱3.4M Shabu in Bulacan

A joint buy-bust operation by the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) and Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) in Pandi, Bulacan led to the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of ₱3.4 million worth of shabu early Thursday, September 25, 2025.

The operation, launched around 4:45 a.m. in Barangay Poblacion, resulted in the confiscation of 500 grams of suspected shabu, marked money, and drug paraphernalia. Authorities confirmed that two of the arrested individuals are considered high-value targets believed to be linked to a wider drug syndicate operating in Central Luzon and Metro Manila.

All suspects were informed of their rights and remain in the custody of the PNP-DEG pending further investigation. Evidence recovered has been secured for documentation and laboratory testing.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. commended the operatives, noting the operation reflects the directive of Acting PNP Chief PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

“This operation shows our Enhanced Police Operations at work. Through the synergy of PNP-DEG and PRO3, we weakened a drug network in Central Luzon and NCR, proving our commitment to stop the drug trade and protect our communities from its harmful impact,” Peñones said.
