Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the country’s leading carrier, capped the year with fresh recognition for its people-centered workplace culture after earning Silver honors at the 2025 BusinessWorld Best Places to Work Awards.
The airline received two Silver distinctions—one for overall performance and another for strong results across key workplace areas such as inclusion, support for persons with disabilities, age diversity, and employee wellbeing. Cebu Pacific was the only local airline recognized in this year’s awards.
Felix Lopez, Cebu Pacific Chief Human Resources Officer, said the recognition reflects the company’s continued investment in systems and practices that allow employees to perform at their best in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, especially in the demanding aviation industry.

The awards are based on an independent employee engagement survey conducted by BusinessWorld in partnership with global employee experience platform WorkL. Organizations were evaluated across six drivers of engagement: reward and recognition, instilling pride, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing, and job satisfaction.
The latest accolade adds to Cebu Pacific’s growing list of workplace achievements. In 2024, the airline became the first carrier in Southeast Asia to earn the Great Place To Work® Certification. This year, it was also included in Forbes’ World’s Best Employers list and named among the Philippines’ Best Employers by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
As Cebu Pacific continues to expand its network to more than 60 domestic and international destinations, the airline remains committed to strengthening a workplace culture that supports and empowers its people.
