“I’mPerfect” emerged as Best Picture at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal held Saturday night, December 27, at the Dusit Thani grand ballroom in Makati City, headlining an awards night that celebrated both cinematic excellence and inclusivity.
The film also earned Best Actress honors for Krystel Go, whose performance marked a groundbreaking moment for representation in Philippine cinema. Go, an actress with Down’s syndrome, was recognized for her compelling portrayal that resonated strongly with both audiences and critics.


Meanwhile, Vice Ganda won Best Actor for ‘Call Me Mother’, further solidifying his evolution as a performer capable of delivering both comedic and dramatic roles.
Rounding out the major awards, ‘UnMarry’ claimed ‘Second Best Picture’ and earned Best Director for Jeffrey Jeturian, along with multiple technical and performance awards. Third Best Picture honors went to ‘Manila’s Finest’ and ‘Call Me Mother’.
