The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.) have signed an agreement to update and enhance the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Master Development Plan, supporting the Marcos administrationโ€™s push to accelerate infrastructure development and promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

The updated plan seeks to further maximize the growth potential of BGC, one of the countryโ€™s most dynamic and high-value urban districts. Since its development, BGC has attracted major commercial, residential, and institutional investments, strengthening its status as a leading business and lifestyle hub.

BCDA President and Chief Executive Officer Joshua M. Bingcang said the initiative aims to ensure that BGC remains balanced, resilient, and accessible for all stakeholders. โ€œThe goal is to keep BGC balanced, resilient, and accessibleโ€”not only for investors, but for workers, residents, and the public who use this city every day,โ€ Bingcang said.

Also present at the signing were SGV & Co. Country Managing Partner Rossana Fajardo, Strategy and Transactions Partner Marie Stephani Tan-Hamed, and Bonifacio Estate Services Corp. (BESC) General Manager Ernest Pascual.

The updated master development plan is expected to guide BGCโ€™s continued growth while integrating long-term sustainability and inclusive urban development principles.
