The Municipal Government of Lubao continues to prioritize the health and nutrition of young residents through its ongoing milk supplementation program for underweight children.
Hundreds of elementary and high school students received milk supplements as part of the local government’s feeding initiative aimed at improving the nutritional status of children in the municipality.

Lubao Mayor Esmeralda Pineda, together with Councilor Jayson Pineda-Victorino, personally visited various schools to turn over the milk supplies to student beneficiaries.
According to the mayor, children are provided with milk daily to help ensure they receive adequate nutrition essential for growth, strength, and overall health.
The Department of Health recommends that children drink at least one glass of milk daily as it is rich in calcium, vitamin D, and protein—key nutrients needed for proper growth, stronger bones and teeth, and maintaining a healthy body.
Among the public high schools visited were those located in the barangays of Prado Siongco, Baruya, Santiago, San Roque Arbol, Sta. Cruz, and San Pablo.
Through the sustained implementation of the program, the Municipal Government of Lubao underscores its commitment to building a healthier generation, recognizing that healthy children are the foundation of a stronger and more progressive community.
