Porac-Based MSME Wins Best Pitch Award at SEAL-SEGA

The Department of Trade and Industry Pampanga office has congratulated a local entrepreneur for winning the Best Pitch Award during a national business development program for micro enterprises.

Marco Dandin S. Lintag of Abuela’s Food Products received the recognition during the Small Enterprise Acceleration Lab – Small Enterprise Growth Agenda (SEAL-SEGA) Online Program held from March 10 to 13.

Based in Barangay Pio in Porac, Abuela’s Food Products produces a variety of locally made delicacies, including mushroom chips, chili paste, atchara, and kamote and taro chips that highlight Pampanga’s rich culinary tradition.

The SEAL-SEGA Program is implemented by the BPI Foundation in partnership with the Philippine Trade Training Center – Global MSME Academy. The initiative provides newly registered micro enterprises with intensive online training, mentoring sessions, and cash grants to help improve their products, operations, and marketing strategies.

DTI Pampanga said the program aims to strengthen the capabilities of micro entrepreneurs and support their business growth, while highlighting the potential of local MSMEs to compete on a broader stage.
