NASA shared photos of Astronauts Christina Koch @astro_christina and Reid Wiseman @astro_reid of the Artemis II mission gazing at Earth through a window of the Orion spacecraft as they continue their journey around the Moon.
NASA described the crew as being “deep in space” on a mission carried out on behalf of people back on Earth.
The Artemis II mission marks the first time in more than 50 years that astronauts have traveled around the Moon.
