The municipal government of Porac has temporarily suspended the implementation of Executive Order No. 082-2026 concerning Mancatian Bridge, following the recommendation of the Department of Public Works and Highways Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office.

In a letter, Acting Mayor Trisha Angelie Capil said the current status of the bridge will remain in effect until April 30, 2026, while technical evaluations by the DPWH continue.

The DPWH earlier recommended the suspension to allow more vehicles to pass, provided they comply with the bridge’s weight capacity and existing traffic regulations.

The decision was reached during a coordination meeting led by Dennis Pineda, attended by representatives from the Porac local government, concerned agencies, and other stakeholders.
